The Senior Men's Section of Mid Herts Golf Club is open to members who are 55 and over. We have no fees or other requirements to join, just a willingness to be part of a great community of over 180 members who are sociable and welcoming. We run a full program of rollups, matches, competitions and social events throughout the year

Informal and friendly ‘Roll Up’ competitions are run on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 8am, where everyone gets a game regardless of ability. These rounds are a wonderful opportunity to meet other members and make new friends. There is also a ‘qualifying rollup’ at 9am on a Friday.

We have a full program of Inter-Club Seniors Matches against leading clubs in and around Hertfordshire. These ‘competitive but friendly’ games are played both home and away and all Seniors are eligible for selection.

We also run many other competitions, for example a pairs Winter League with group and knock-out stages, summer singles and pairs knock-outs, one-off annual competitions (including several with the Ladies), and the popular summer Eclectic where your best scores on each hole count over the eight rounds. There is also an annual Invitation event, where our Seniors invite non-members for a round and a great day out, and fun events, such as our Scrambles and ‘Christmas Cheer’.
